At the meeting April Days on Chemistry Teaching, 33rd Professional Training for Chemistry Teachers and 5th Conference on Chemistry Teaching Methodology, which was held on April 24 and 25, 2024 at the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Belgrade, the second conference contribution, the result of the ELIPS’с research, was presented.

The paper titled “Examples of interdisciplinary activities to improve students’ environmental literacy”, which was presented to the meeting participants by Slađana Savić, presented a simple chemical experiment and examples of discussions and tasks for chemistry classes.

The experiment “Invisible rain, but visible consequences” refers to the effect of acidic sulfur oxides on flowers, designed so that it can be easily performed at home.

The presentation stimulated a lively discussion and the interest of experts from various fields.
