At the invitation of the “Researcher’s Night” project team, Slađana Savić, teaching assistant at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade and member of the ELIPS project team, held a science-popular lecture with the title “Reading the past of the planet from ice – an example of applied chemistry” in the amphitheater of the Eighth Belgrade High School.

On that occasion, on November 16, 2023, Slađana Savić presented the ELIPS project.

The lecture presented ice research at the South and North Pole, which led to data on changes in air temperature throughout the history of the planet Earth.

During and after the lecture, the students asked questions and participated in the discussion.

We would like to thank the “Researcher’s Night” team and the Eighth Belgrade High School for their hospitality.
